Who: A 501-c3 non-profit group dedicated to raising funds to benefit the children of Hanalei school.

What: Raising awareness and funding to subsidize enrichment programs and facilities at Hanalei School.

Why: Declining enrollment and a transient student population directly impacts funding at Hanalei School. Some programs would not happen without the generous donations and efforts of our parent volunteers on PTA and HSF to make sure our students don’t go without.

Students in K-6th currently receive Music, Art and PE weekly, this roughly costs the PTA $65K annually. We feel making sure students receive these enrichments is a vital piece of a weekly school experience and a way for creativity to thrive. This also allows teachers to have time for prep and planning with vital members of our school team and to plan for small group work.
